Land Use Change and Environmental Degradation in Coastal Regions of Bangladesh: Environmental Education as a Key Strategy to Improve Sustainability.
Coastal region of Bangladesh is highly vulnerable to disasters like cyclone and costal erosion which are causing serious environmental damage. In addition to these natural disasters, unplanned land use mainly shrimp farming is making this scenario even more critical.
Environmental education could play an important role to build awareness among the coastal habitants and thus to improve sustainability.
